Hebei Daily (Reporter Gong Xianyun) On November 16, at the opening ceremony of the 2022 China International Digital Economy Expo, the China Electronics and Information Industry Development Research Institute released the 2022 China Digital Economy Development Research Report. The report investigates the development level of digital economy in four municipalities directly under the Central Government and local administrative regions (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are not covered for the time being) through four dimensions of digital infrastructure, digital economy industry, digital governance and data value, forming the "2022 Top 100 Digital Economy Cities". Shijiazhuang, Tangshan, Langfang, Baoding, Cangzhou and Handan were ranked 30th, 60th, 64th, 70th, 74th and 80th respectively.

Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Guangzhou have been in the forefront of digital economy for many years

As a whole, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Guangzhou have been in the forefront of the digital economy for many years, and the comprehensive strength of the digital economy has led the country. Chengdu, Suzhou, Nanjing and other new first tier cities of digital economy have entered the fast lane, with a strong momentum of catching up. The development of second tier cities with digital economy has begun to take shape, and it is urgent to optimize factor ration and break the bottleneck of growth. In 2022, Wuxi and Dongguan will be added as new front-line cities of digital economy. Shaoxing, Yangzhou, Hohhot, Jinhua and Zhuhai rose to the second tier of digital economy. Jiujiang, Hengyang, Changde, Zhanjiang and Kaifeng were added to the list.

This is the sixth consecutive year that China Electronic Information Industry Development Research Institute has released this list. The reporter learned that Shijiazhuang ranked one place ahead of last year's list, Baoding ranked four places ahead, and Cangzhou ranked four places ahead of last year's list, demonstrating the accelerating pace of urban digital economy development.

The digital economic strength of the three urban agglomerations increased steadily

At present, the digital economic strength of the three urban agglomerations of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the Yangtze River Delta has increased steadily, and the urban agglomerations of Chengdu, Chongqing, and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River are catching up with each other. The bow and arrow pattern of China's digital economy has become apparent.

The bow along the coast. With Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area three major urban agglomerations as the core, it links Beijing, Tianjin, Shandong and other eastern coastal provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and brings together many traditional economic cities. As the first developing regions of China's digital economy, the three urban agglomerations are the key to building China's digital industrial clusters. The number of top 100 cities with digital economy in the eastern coastal areas accounts for half of the country, and the scale and benefits of the digital economy are rising.

The arrow of the Yangtze River. With Chengdu Chongqing and the middle reaches of the Yangtze River as the core, connecting the east and the west, it has a vast hinterland and market space to promote the radiative development of digital economy from the coast to the vast inland.

The chord in the middle. It brings together Luoyang, Yichang and other old industrial cities, as well as Ganzhou, Jiaozuo and other resource-based cities. There is broad space for industrial digitalization development, which is the long-term need for China's digital economy to gather strength and expand its efforts.

The digital economy is developing vigorously

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the development of China's digital economy has gone through ten years, with both quantity and quality rising, achieving the second largest scale and the first growth rate of the global digital economy.

The construction of digital infrastructure is technologically advanced and well guaranteed. The network infrastructure has gone from following to leading, with the 5G network scale taking the lead in the world, and the industrial private network has accelerated its implementation. IPv6 expressway has been fully completed and entered the stage of traffic enhancement. The industrial Internet identity analysis system continued to improve, enabling thousands of industries to upgrade their digital intelligence. By the end of June 2022, the number of 5G base stations in China has reached 1.854 million, and more than 5325 5G virtual private networks have been built.

The integration of the digital economy and the real economy has gone deep and solid. The average penetration of digital economy across the industry has increased from 24.7 to 38.3, and digital technology has effectively promoted the intelligent upgrading of production and service systems.

The epidemic situation is that the digital governance process has pressed the fast forward button, the public service tools have been profoundly transformed, and the government service platform, APP, applet and other applications have been widely covered. By June 2022, the number of real name users of the national integrated government service platform has exceeded 1 billion, and the online handling rate of provincial administrative licensing matters in 22 regions has exceeded 50%.
